MAPI Problem

A

Alex Balfour

When I right-click on a file and use WinZip's "Zip and Email" option, I
receive the error message "MAPI is not available on your system". Also
right-clicking and using the "Send To" > "Mail Recipient" option has no
apparent effect.

I'm using Vista Home Premium, Windows Mail and Office 2007 (Home &
Student edition).

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I've managed to fix these problems, caused (I think) by Windows Mail not
being on the list of default programs. Certainly, downloading and
merging the registry patch mailclients.reg from Winhelponline.com did
the trick.

Thanks for the update, Alex.

For others interested, the mailclients.reg is available at:
