map usb as a:drive

Is it possible, like it was in DOS-environment?
If so, how?

In these modern times new desktops come without diskette-drives.
We use usb-sticks now.
But some old-fashioned government agencies still use a protection-system
based on diskette in a:drive.
To log in we need a diskette.

Wouldn't it be nice to use our modern computers to do what formerly was easy
as eating pie?

In order to use a flash drive as A:, does it not have to be supported in the
PC's BIOS???

- insert usbstick
- open start
- right click my computer
- choose manage
- choose diskmanagement (i guess it's called that my version is Dutch)
- rightclick on usbstick
- choose change drive-letter and path
- make it a:
