We got a USB floppy and used it to boot off the network. We then inserted a
diskette containing GHOST.EXE and tried to run it. However, it just hangs
there. The error log says that it stopped running because Ghost can only
run in a DOS environment, even though the diskette *is* a PC-DOS
environment.
We then used another boot disk which does nothing with the network at all
but allows access to the CD rom. This time Ghost ran just fine. We
ultimately determined that whenever there was a "network state", Ghost.exe
doesn't run. Whenever there isn't, it does.
We are using Ghost 7.5, and all of this is taking place on a GX270.
Anyone have any ideas on how to make Ghost run from the USB floppy while
connected to the network?
