Map Network Drive & Save Password

I am using Windows XP Home. I connect to my company's network using VPN. When I map a network drive I check the "Reconnect at logon" checkbox and click on "Connect using a different user name" link
In the "Connect As..." window, I enter my company domain\username and password but there is no option for remembering my password and not asking for it again. The next time I connect my mapped drives are unavailable. I must click on each one and reenter my password
How do I fix Windows so it will ask to remember my password when mapping a drive? Any help is appreciated

I have a similar problem with WinXP Pro

Does anyone have a way for Windows to remember the username/password to use when re-connecting at login

This is an annoying problem.

Start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Start | Run, type
"control userpasswords2" Select the account you want to logon to
automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a user name
and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.
