how's the practice in World?

i set up a login batch file (net use) to map network drives since Windows 98
generation.

Now it is Windows XP, XP computers remember all past mapped drive.

But it seems problem to me when i change some mappings for the same drive
letter in login batch file.

i use "net use \persistent - switch" but seems have problems if users login
in Windows 98 computers.

how can i do to force all PC to disconnect all the drive when logout
(shutdown batch[net use /delete or group policy)??

Put the entries to delete the drives at the beginning of the script.
