Map Drive and Reconnect: Password Incorect

Some of computers (Windows XP and 2000) are able to use MapDrive and
remember the password when reconnecting. However some of other Windows 2000
and Windows XP never remember the password. When reconnecting the commputer
ask for the password entered because the "Remembered" password is incorect.

I don't know why there is a diiference. How can I setup those such computers
to remember the password so that when reconnecting the Mapped Drive, the
computer will not ask for the password again?

Please show me the tricks!

I forgot to tell that the computer that shares the folders is Windows 2000
