Many issues with camera, LOL

Good Evening - I got my camera back in June and installed it and it worked
great. Then all of a sudden it stopped opening up pics when I connected it
and clicked on the camera icon. The following message always appears: NTVDN
KERNEL: Missing 16-bit system module. Please re-install the following module
to your system 32 directory: KEYBOARD.DRV. The keyboard works fine, but I
uninstalled it and reinstalled it just to make sure, still to no avail. I
still receive that message. And I tried to reinstall the cd that came with
the camera and it wont do anything. Just sits there and hums for a minute
(with nothing showing up on the screen) and then stops. I have looked and
looked and can find no information on my puter regarding system module,
system 32 directory or anything that will help. Can someone please help me
figure this out before I go into the closet and dig out my Polaroid Camera!!!

They should have said \windows\system32 folder (folder and directory are
synonyms). You will get better answers from
microsoft.public.windowsxp.perform_maintain for your questions.
Frankly, what I would do is get a card reader and use Windows Explorer to
copy photos from the card to the computer.
