Many Crashes On Bootup

After install a new Maxtor 120 gig drive, I get a lot of
crashes with loading hives or corrupt system, corrupt
software, etc error at boot up. RegComp has helped but I
am really getting tired of reinstalling from backup tapes.

Is there a fix or work around?? PLEASE

Download Maxtor's disk utility, PowerMax, and run it. Sounds like you've
got a defective disk (wouldn't be the first I've seen). www.maxtor.com
