Mandatory COMMON profile ?

We currently use a mandatory profile which is located on the local drive at
c:\profile. Works well, but is there anyway to just use that profile from
that directory ? In other words, NOT copy it from that location and create
one by the users name ?

Basically, you (based on information in the Windows Registry book) can
backup the C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\ntuser.dat file and copy
the C:\Profile\ntuser.dat file to C:\Documents and Settings\Default
User\ntuser.dat.

After that, any user created will be created based on that profile.

Current users still will need the C:\Profile mandatory file, until you make
all the changes contained in that ntuser.dat into each user's ntuser.dat
file.

But that still creates a profile with the users name under documents &
settings. The goal here is to NOT create any individual user profiles &
directories. No where in the research I have done indicates that this is
possible, but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks for the input
