Managing styles in 2007

I don't want to see all the styles that come with MSWORD. I want to use my
own styles but I have to wade through all the unneeded styles that come with
WORD. Is there a way to hide the style so only those I want to see will show
up when I hit style button?

I need to be able to set up a template for my office to use that only have a
few styles on it.

Any suggestions?

Open the Styles pane and click on the Manage Styles button. On the Recommend
tab, you can specify which styles are displayed and determine the order in
which they are displayed by setting a priority level for each one. You can
also specify which ones should appear in the Quick Styles gallery. Note that
in order to set priority for styles that are marked as "Hide Until Used,"
you must previously have clicked Options... and selected "All styles" as the
"Styles to show."

If you are referring to teh QuickStyles gallery, just click on the down
arrow in the lower right corner of the Styles section and it will list all
the styles shown. If you highlight a style you do not want slide over to the
right and select the dropdown arrow and choose Remove from QuickStyle gallery.

Hope that helps
