Managing recurrent tasks with Outlook 2000

I use Outlook 2000 to manage recurrent tasks with rates varying from daily to
annual and in between. Is there a way to cut certain days out of the
calculation of recurrence? i.e. vacations and holidays. Skipping
occurrences works fine for short time frames but tasks with longer
recurrences tend to bunch up and they are the more arduous ones.
Is there another program or type of program which would work better?
TIA

Any adjustments like that would have to be made manually. Outlook doesn't have anything built-in to do it for you.
