Managing PCs

I have several PCs that I can not manage remotely. I can
ping the NIC card, but I cannot connect to the PCs any
kind of way(through Manage or mapping to C$). I get an
error message saying the network path is not found. I CAN
get on one of the PCs in question and remotely connect
back to my own PC. My userID is a Domain Admin(which is
also in the admin group on the PC), so it is not a
permissions problem. My next step is to remove the PCs
from the domain and AD and then re-join them unless
someone has a better idea.

If you cannot connect using IP instead of NetBIOS name, check IPC$ and admin
shares exist on those machines.

Check that PCs that you want to manage don't have Firewall turned on.

I found the problem. For some reason the computers did
not have File and Print Sharing installed.
