MANAGE TERMINAL SERVER USER INTERNET ACCESS

M

mauro

I need to setup something in order to permit users of my
terminal server to use the browser some for viewing all
the internet sites, and the other only to connect to 2
internal (LAN) web servers.
Can someone help me??
Has someone already resolved that problem??

Hi Mauro,

a very simple, cheap and rather non-professional solution can be found on
www.softforyou.com. I use this because I do have only one TS and no other
servers for firewall, proxy etc. etc. So, if you do not have any other
possibility then it may fit for you. You can download a 14-days trial.

IProtectYou supports logging of URL's (up to 10 MB logfile, I need one file
a day), logging of transferred data upload/download in MB (I have months in
one logfile, very convenient) and you can allow/deny special URL (that's
what you are looking for. It suppurts users and user-groups (special, not
the ones from windows).

regards

arno
