malfunctioning ie 6, recommend OPERA

With IE 5 in XP, received error msg and closing, and "send
a report-don't send a report" option. Not just annoying,
but bogus... it shows up AFTER IE closes. EVERY time I use
IE this happens... downloaded IE 6 to see if there is an
improvement, plus all service packs, critical updates,etc.
I've switched to OPERA. Much more sophisticated--it's a
GREAT browser-- 10 times faster than IE, does not shut
down. IF anyone has a solution to the above, interested to
know.

allways firefox at mozilla.org .
and in ie tools,options,advanced,uncheck both'enable
install on demand',apply,,, and scan for spyware
