malfunctioned notepad

It seems that notepad is corrupted.

go to a dos prompt and then type sfc /scannow after inserting the Windows XP CD and then it will restore the system to the original state.
 
There is a new virus called notpad. Notpad is the real notepad, and notepad is the virus in System32.
