making puters connect

My home pc is running windows xp sp2 and my laptop is windows xp mce.
Home pc is on internet through cable, and laptop is wireless though wireless
router. How do I use my laptop to access my home pc? Is it possible to do
without more wires? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
If the wireless router comes with LAN ports, connect the home pc to the router.
