MAKING PRIVATE FOLDERS FOLDERS PUBLIC

I recently installed XP on top of my old operating system to repair it. There
were two accounts on my old system. One of the account's "My Documents" was
checked as Private.

With the current operating system I can access one "My Documents" but the
other is still considered Private. NOTE: The account that the "My Documents"
was made private in was deleted with the new installation.

Is there anything (e.g. a setting, a utility) I can do to get to these know
inpenetrable documents?

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.
