Hi
Scenario: increasing numbers of people editing pages on large web-site...
creating and managing their own sub-webs but with potential access (via FTP)
to whole website.
Is there a way of making web-pages read-only - i.e. edit-able only by one or
two people - so that other users can't change something on a top-level page?
Many thanks in anticipation

That's not possible but what you could do is change your FTP server settings
so that each user has his/her own account and that account only points to
their sub web. Another way would be to turn off FTP altogether and only
allow them to make changes using FrontPage. This is actually safer since
using FTP could corrupt the FrontPage Server Extensions if you're not
careful.
