Making appts on shared calendars

My husband and I have our individual calendars published, and permissions are
given only to VIEW the calendars, or to copy appts. in one direction. How can
I make appts. on HIS calendar from my office?

So where are you publishing these calendars?

When a drag one of the corrupted recurring appointments to a desktop folder
Outlook creates a .msg file with all the appointment's exceptions as
attachements. And in each of the problematic appointment's .msg files I in
fact find 3 or 4 mail messages among the appointments. Is there any way to
stop Outlook from converting the exceptions to mail messages?

I will be able to gather enough information to repair this user's calendar,
but this is happening to two of my users, it there any way we could avoid it
for others?

Thanks.

The only way to prevent it is to stop making so many exceptions to the
appointments. If they need an exception, copy the appointment and paste to
make a single event.

If the others are not corrupt yet, export their calendar to excel and import
the formerly recurring appointments. You can open the file and easily
remove all but the former recurring events before importing so you don't get
a lot of duplicates.
