Making AOL compatable using Outlook 2003

I have configured my Outlook to accept AOL emails and send as well
according to the information put out by Microsoft but while Outlook
accepts the information I don't get any e-mail from Outlook and I am
puzzled as to why? Anyone have any idea?

Also their is no "test account settings" appearing on the main entry
page of e-mail accounts which I put down to the fact that I was using
IMAP but my other question is, am I correct.

I will appreciate any help I can get! Thank you!

Tom Willett was kind enough to reply but he ran me through the
Microsoft steps to set up Outlook to receive AOL. I have done this
and it still does not work. Anyone have any idea of why?

Also I don't have a "Test Account Settings" box apppear to test the
setup? Anyone have any idea of why this is?

I really need some help on this.
