Make XP Search default to C: drive only

When I open the standard WinXP search function it defaults to searching all
my hard drives (besides the C drive I have an external HD). 99% of the time
I only want to search the C drive, is there a way to change the default to
only search C: instead of me having to change it each time I open the
search function?
