Feel free to acquire a more feature rich word processor before the next
version of Windows is released. Some of them can be downloaded for free, I
think maybe Jarte is what you're looking for:
Not likely. Wordpad is a *very* basic word processor and is likely to
remain so. Check Open Office (www.openoffice.org) for a free office
suite (word processor, spreadsheet, etc) with *lots* of features.
