Powerpoint 2003
I have a general heading: Time Frames
I then have a series of 5 sub headings, all indented at the same level.
"appear" in animation makes a heading and all subheadings come up together.
I want the sub headings to appear one by one.
Anyone know if it can be done and how?

Helen,
You need to change the group by level for your paragraphs. The information
in this entry from Steve Rindsberg's PPT FAQ tells you how:
Make animated text appear line by line

Kathy,
It all went fine until I clicked the Text animation tab under Effect
Options, but then the only options I got were "all", "by word" or "by
letter". No "group by". However, I then discovered that I could highlight
the 5 subheadings one by one and they then got numbered 2-6 (with the main
heading as 1), and they now come up by click just the way I wanted.

Thanks very much.
Helen
