How to setup document with numbered heading/nonindent subheading?

Word used to have formatting styles that set up documents like heading 1 had
either numbers or letters such as 1.0 and heading 2 was 1.1 and heading 3 was
1.1.1 and you could select whether the subheadings were indented or not. I
can't find anything regarding how to do that in Word 2007 and I couldn't find
any template that appeared to have that. Do I have to make my own template?
If so, that seems to me to be a drastic step backwards!

The easiest way to set up that kind of numbering is to start by choosing the
"1 Heading 1 1.1 Heading 2 1.1.1 Heading 3" list format via Home tab |
Multilevel List. Then place the insertion point in the first Heading 1
paragraph and click Home tab | Multilevel List | Define New Multilevel List.
Word displays a dialog box that allows you to modify all aspects of numbering
(numbering style, text surrounding the numbers, indentation, associated
paragraph styles). For a description of the various options, you may still
find the article at
