Make compact flash ewf-enable

I'm making my 512MB Compact Flash card ewf-enabled and
this CF is a FIXED DISK (not removable).
I, however, found a strange thing.
If the CF have 2 partitions(Primary and Extended with
Logical drive) then failed to make it ewf-enabled.
otherwise if the CF have only 1 partition(Primary) then,
succeed without error.

What's wrong?

please let me know why.

Hi,

Since you will use RAM EWF.
Go to www.xpefiles.com and find component and doc named ramewf.zip.

This will allow you to configure RAM EWF without extra partition. This means
that you won't have failures of any kind.

Is there room on the disk for the ewf partition when the second partition is
created? Even if your using EWF with a RAM overlay a small partition is
created. Leave possibly 1 mb (can be less) of unpartitioned space on the cf
for the EWF partiton and see if it starts successfully this time.
