Make callouts "point" up, not down -- change default direction

I have a line chart I need to add callouts to. Most of them will be
below the line, not above it. Is there a way to change the default
"pointer" coming out of the box? I would like it to point up, not
point down.

Thanks,

I did figure that out, but I was hoping there was a way to change the
*default* pointing direction for new callouts that I add.

I have 58 slides and counting, most of them with graphs, most of the
graphs requiring at least 2 callout boxes. Also, the narrowness of the
"pointer" changes when you drag it up to the other side, so there is
more clicking and dragging to do after you move the pointer to the
other side.

That's a lot of clicking and dragging. So if PowerPoint really doesn't
allow users to say "make my callouts point up instead of down", I will
probably just use text boxes.

Thanks,
Rachel
