Is there a way to make a Windows XP installation CD with the 824146 (worm
virus) patch included?

We're using Microsoft Campus Agreement and the Windows product key is built
into the disk. But the worm virus is not included, and for that reason we
have to disconnect our computers from the network while installing Windows
XP. We'd very much like to be able to install a version of Windows XP that
is already patched.

The patch is not in Service Pack 1A as far as I can determine; it is several
months newer than that service pack.

Thanks to anyone with wise advice to contribute.

Use the /X command with the hotfix to extract it. Copy the RPCRT4.DLL,
RPCSS.DLL, and OLE32.DLL to i386. Rename or delete the RPCRT4.DL_,
RPCSS.DL_, and OLE32.DL_ files. Consider doing this also with the hotfix
that included wkssvc.dll and msgsvc.dll.
