Make an image

Hi!
I would like to make some questions about how to make an image with Windows
Xp Embedded.
I've been following and example and I've see that there are some components
that are necessary to make embedded image:
- Design Template \ Windows -Based Terminal Professional
- Software \ System \ Storage and File Systems \ Infrastructure \ Fyle
Systems \ Fat
- Software \ System \ Storage and File Systems \ Infrastructure \
Applications \ Fat Format
- Software \ System \ User Interface \ Shells \ Explorer Shell
- Software \ System \ System Services \ Base \ NTLoader

Is that true? I'm not sure of it.
Also they add TweakUI... it's also necessary? because I make a filter and it
can't find this component!

In the example I've read they make the image in a partition on the same hard
drive. How can I make the image in another hard drive?
In the example that I've seen they configure it like this:
Settings / Target Devices:

a.. Boot Drive = C:
a.. Windows Folder = D:\Windows
a.. Program Files Folder = D:\Program Files
a.. Documents and Settings folder = D:\Documents and Settings
a.. Boot ARC path = multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)
a.. Boot Partition Size (MB) = 700

How should I make it?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

For how to make you image you should start by reading XPe documentations.
And using google to read old archives:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=microsoft.
public.windowsxp.embedded

Also read:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/embedded/community/tips/xp/default.asp

For some advanced volume letter configurations read:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/embedded/community/tips/xp/runtimepartition
..asp

How should I make it?

In any way you feel it is right (easy for you to develop and deploy test
images)

After reading these ask more direct questions about specific method you have
problems with.

Regards,
Slobodan
