Make a TCP connection with Access 2000

Is it possible to make a TCP connection with Access 2000? AFAIK in VB
there is an object winsock1 but my Access 2000 VBA does not know that.

Teddy,

The simple solution would be to add the Winsock ActiveX to
a form and program around the events and properties of the
Winsock object. Just go to the Insert Menu of the form in
Design mode and select Insert ActiveX control and Select
your version of the Winsock control and then use the code
you have found on the internet.
