Hi
I upgraded to a new computer, and now I can't connect to the sqlserver. I am
able to connect using "Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express CTP"
but I am not able to connect using ms access. I went to the old PC, and was
able to connect using access.
The error I get is
Connection failed:
SQLState:'01000'
SQL Server Error: 10061
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets] ConnectionOpen
(connect())
Connection failed:
SQLState:'08001'
SQL Server Error: 11
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]General network error.
Check you network documentation.
I checked and found out that the TCP/IP of the old pc is using DBNETLIB.dll,
where else the new pc is using DBMSSOCN.dll. Could this be the problem?
Help appreciated. Many thanks in advance
