I'm not familiar with that software but it should run in Wine and there
may be a comparable program in Ubuntu's repository.
That particular program will not run in Wine and unfortunately there is no
comparable program available for Linux.

Cheers.

I must say the developers at Microsoft do have a sense of humour.

Ubuntu has access to over 23,000 free programs, not just office stuff.

In any event, you should run a Live Ubuntu CD to check to see if the USB
ports are screwed or if Windows is screwed. Running a Live CD will not
install anything on your hard drive. You can get the Live CD at ubuntu.com

IOW's...NO! Linux will not run any of his required software. In fact,
that POS toy os urbuttoo won't run anything of any real value.

Instead of guessing, the OP should run a Live Ubuntu CD and see if the
USB ports work or not. I would guess that it's Windows, as usual.

A mouse and a keyboard are "heavy demand" items; really, are they? First
time I ever heard that one. Frankly, if I were Rich T., and could find
nothing to help me in the USB Controller or other sections of the Device
Manager; I would just install a 4 to 5 port USB 2.0 PCI card to see if that
presents a solution. They are not that expensive.
How did you get in this thread where almost all the posts are by two Linux
(Ubunti) trolls?
