Major problem installing XP after format

Ok well here it is, when i first got my computer i had windows 98 on it and
later upgraded to Xp and after a couple of months of non stop gaming and
upgrading the comp i switched out my D drive for a bigger one, when i did
this i did not uninstall some of the games, after swicthing back drives to
try and uninstall these games (very large games) that drive stopped working
so i decided to format both drives and just start over completely. After
doing this i tryed to reinstall XP and as it was installing it gave me the
arror messege that it could not find driver.cab, Jgmd4oo.ddl, Imasehlp.dll,
Mtprint.inf, and Sp2.cab on the disc. After skipping these files and
finishing the installation Windows XP wouldnt even initiate. I put the disc
into one of my other computers and found that all those files are still on
the disc but they couldnt be found by the XP installation. My next atempt is
to install these files on the hard drive and try the installation again. If
you have any advice it would be great ly appreciated.
