Major issues on small XP / 98 Network

Ok, here's the situation. Two XP computers, one with a
ADSL connection, one 98 computer. Previously, the network
was set up manually, with the USB modem connection shared
at 192.168.0.1, and the other machines with IP addresses.
Worked perfectly.

Then an anonymous moron ran the XP Networking Wizard,
which took over 192.168.0.1 with "Internet connection",
refusing to allow me to manually set up the network the
way it was. Some strange crap has now gone down since. The
current situation is the main XP machine with the internet
connection cannot connect to the other two, whilst the
other two are happily networked, but can't connect to the
main machine or the internet.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be eternally grateful.

Do away with the ICS non-sense. Buy a cheap router (Linksys or
D-Link), connect the modem to the router and setup all computers to
the router using DHCP. Then it won't matter which computer is on
when, they'll all have internet access. Then start over on building
the Workgroup shares between the XP machines and 98. It'll be more
reliable and less headache. You'll be happy you did.

Done and done. Problem solved! Thanks for the inspiration,
Admiral, this monkey is now off my back at last!
