I need some examples of what a maintenance plan looks
like in log sheet form for computer equipment and
consumables such as: Hard Disk, Floppy Disk Drive, CD-ROM
Drive, Keyboard, Mouse, System Unit,Monitor.

Utilize the following Windows XP utility programs, at least monthly, in this order:

Description of the Disk Cleanup Tool in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;310312&Product=winxp

How to Perform Disk Error Checking in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315265&Product=winxp

HOW TO: Analyze and Defragment a Disk in Windows XP

The first two work fine.

When I do this:

Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Defragmenter.

I get this message bar:

"This version of Disk Defragmenter does not support running more than one
instance". [OK] [More Info]

I have checked task manager and cannot find any instance where dfrg (or anything like
it) is running.

msconfig/services shows no instances either.

Start/settings/control panel/administrative tools/computer management/event viewer/application *nor* /system shows no errors or warnings applicable to
defrag.

I cannot find where the other instance of disk defragment is running.

I even tried running the above in 'safe mode' and got the same msg bar.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or find the other instance of 'defrag' running,
would be appreciated.
