MAIN USERS PASSWORD DOSEN'T WORK

I JUST MOVED AND WHEN I SET UP MY COMPUTER AGAIN AND TRIED
TO LOG ON AS THE ADMINASTATOR- IT IS SAYING INVALD
PASSWORD. I HAVE HAD THIS PASSWORD FOR A LONG TIME AND NOW
I CAN'T GET IN TO MY COMPUTER. IS THERE A WAY TO GO IN TO
SAFE MODE AND RESET MY PASSWORD. I CANT EVEN REMEMBER HOW
TO GET INTO SAFE MODE AND MY BOOK FOR XP IS IN THE BOTTOM
OF A BOX SOMEWHERE. HELP ME SOMEONE PLEASE.
 
When you start the computer tap f8 that will get you to safe mode, hope this
helps, Bill
