I had to do an Office 2k3 repair. Now when I click a mailto: link I get errors as follows:

FF: nothing associated with Mailto:
IE6: just tries to display a web page.

How can I fix this???

Thanks.

check IE6 that it is associated with outlook. Located in IE settings
Programs tab.

Yes it does. I changed it Outlook Express. Quit, came back in and changed
back to Outlook, same thing.

Help....

I have it partially fixed. Now when I click on a MAILTO link, outlook fires
up, but the right hand window pane says "No page to display" and the
hyperlink says mailto:...

However, behind all this is my email document.

So, it's getting better but it's still pooched.

I don't know if this helps, but if I enter the mailto in the address bar (ff
or IE) it works fine. For example:

mailto:[email protected], this launches outlook and all is fine (bogus address
of course).

But clicking on a link on a website doesn't work. I've tried about 20
different sites, so it is not site specific.
