Mails not seen in sent items folder

I am not finding the sent mails in my sent items folder.
Even my outlook settings has selected save the sent mails
in sent items folder.
Pls help me in troubleshooting this prob.

Check your view of the Sent Items folder. Go to View, Current View (or View,
Arrange By, Current View in Outlook 2003) and see if you're set to Unread
messages or some other view than the default Messages view.

I am experiencing the exact problem, which occured after
the installing the latest security updates. I too would
appreciate a solution (apart from a complete re-install)

I was just fighting that type of problem and found that
the Date had changed on my PC causing the sent date and
time of the sent message to cause the message to be
burried in past sent messages.
