mails not remains

Hi,
I have a new laptop. I set up the same email account with my old desktop. the problem is that when I open the outlook on the old desktop all mails in the new laptop dissappear. How could I keep all the mails stay there like normal(on both computers as well as possible). Because I am going to get rid off my old destop, I want all my laptop having all mails on the server. What should I do? Thanks

You should configure the account on your old PC to leave copies of messages
on the server. See the Advanced tab of the account properties.
