I have Windows XP Professional and want to use SMTP. It is not included in my IIS installation. CDONTS doesn't exist too. From where I can install patches for these.
 
Do you mean an SMTP client or a server? An SMTP client is provided as free
with Outllook and Outlook Express but if you want a mail server, you will
have to download something from the Internet. Do an Google search on email
servers to review the options.

From the add remove Windows Components, select IIS then details, you should
then see SMTP Service
