I have downloaded windows live to my computer, how do I set it up to send
and receive e-mail? It does not give me specific instructions.

Assuming you are referring to Windows Mail, not Windows LIVE Mail, and you
want to access your (e-mail address removed) account in Windows Mail...

Use the Configuration Settings on this page:
http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!CC9301187A51FE33!49799.entry

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed) addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., (e-mail address removed)). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.

Did you mean, "Windows Live Mail"?
The newsgroup to which you posted is dedicated to supporting the
Windows Mail program that comes included with Vista.
You will get more help by posting that question in the WLM newsgroup:

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...dg=microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop
or via your news reader: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

In brief, Windows Live Mail supports Live.com addresses automatically.
Simply begin adding the account by entering your name and email address
and Windows Live Mail will do the rest.
