I currently use windows mail and wish to continue using it. Shortly I will be
changing my ISP and will be required to change my email address from
@ntlworld.com. My new provider will be sky. I would prefer not to use a sky
email address as if I eventually change again I will be required to change my
address again. I would prefer a web based address. How can I continue to use
Windows Mail? I find the folders and sub folders ideal for what I want. I do
not like either gmail or Yahoo as they do not have folders within folder(sub
folders). Any ideas

Why not use Gmail but use it as a regular POP server rather than a Webmail
service.

Set up a Gmail account, log in to the Gmail Web site and go to Settings.
Click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab. Under POP Download, choose
"Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on." Under "When messages are
accessed with POP," choose whether you want to keep a copy on the server
after you've downloaded it or delete it from the server. Then configure
Windows mail to access your mail at pop.gmail.com.

Windows mail will treat your Gmail account like any other POP server and you
can set up folders in Windows mail any way you want.
