i don't know how to set up my mail. i don't know what the pop3 things is i
think my internet provider is internet explorer or do you mean cox who i pay
for my internet.

The email provider is the one you pay. You say that's Cox. They should
have a web page telling you how to set it up. If they don't have
instructions for Windows Mail follow the instructions for Outlook Express.
