what is the max size for outlook email folders (inbox and sent box) before
outlook starts having problems? my inbox folder is about 560,000kb. is
there a limit on size before it starts to have problems?

i have MS outlook 2002. is my mail folder too big? or...at what size will i
start to have problems?

You may or may not experience problems with your PST file when it gets to be
about 1.5 GB or so. It can grow to 2 GB however but after that you could be
pushing your luck. Are you experiencing problems at all?

Didn't you read the message to which you responded? DL clearly typed that
you can have trouble starting at about 1.6 GB.

Yes you will definitely start to receive warning messages at 1.5 gb only if
you are using Exchange Server otherwise your file might just get to the point
where it locks you out and corrupt itself.

Versions of Outlook from 2002 upward will also warn when the PST file size
approaches the limit, I believe, even without Exchange.
