How do i know what my incoming and outgoing mail servers are? I am trying to
email someone back on craigslist and it says i need my incoming and outgoing
mail servers...something like POP or IMAP? where can i find this?

You find this out from your ISP. Call them or visit their web page and look for email setup instructions.

How did you access email prior to getting Vista?
Who is your email service provider? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider.

I'm having the exact same probem, can anyone help? I need to know what my
incoming mail server is, I think is it something like pop.microsoft.com but
that's not working. Can anyone help it's driving me mad!

Tell us who you pay for your internet connection?
What comes after the @ in your email address?
