Mail rules/ safe list

I get mail as junk and keep trying to create rules so that certain items go
to my inbox instead. I've tried adding senders domain to safe list and also
creating rules. Nothing works? I use Hotmail, outlook Connector, Office 2007
and Windows XP. Any ideas?

Also, when using this forum I check the box to notify me of replies. It
never does, I have to come back and search? Any ideas?

The forum software is goofy and half the time the replies don't work. Search
on your display name should show full threads so you can find if there are
replies.

Hotmail's junk rules are separate from outlook as they apply as soon as the
mail arrives, not as you download it. Log into the hotmail account online
and trust the senders or their domain.
