Mail not relayed

Wish to send a mail to a recepient.
1.) Connected to corporate network using pop3 account.
2) Sent the mail to the recepient. Received a message from system administrator

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients

3) The address is correct because I am able to send the mail to the recepient when i am inside my corporate network.

Note that the recepient email id does not belong to our corporate but to a different company.

Your mail server is not allowing the message to be sent because it is
leaving your company. You need to talk to your system administrator.
