Mail not being received

A friend of mine recently bought a laptop with Vista premium & has a desktop
with XP pro, when he sends me an email from his laptop he receives it on his
desktop but I don't get it, I get mails he sends me from his desktop ok, I'm
stumped, any ideas?,

It looks like he has entered his own email address instead of yours as your
email address on the laptop.
