mail merge with voting buttons

anyone know how to include voting buttons on a mail merge
document. Using Word to create the merge documents and
using outlook to send them as email messages.

Can't be done as a simple mail merge. You'd have to write code to create the
messages and add the custom actions (aka voting buttons).

I don't think there's any way to do this -- I'm pretty sure you must send
the messages in Rich Text format for voting buttons to work, and
Outlook/Word mail merges can only be done in plain text and (for Office 2002
and later) HTML. Hopefully if I'm incorrect on this, one of the other MVPs
or someone else who has gotten your scenario to work can jump into the
thread.
