I am trying to send a picture in a mail merge and it is taking everything
except the picture, which leads me to think it either can't be done or I have
a setting wrong. Thanks for any help.

You could create an html document in Word with your picture embedded, then
mail-merge that document. Start the merge from Outlook, and when the wizard
asks if you want to use an existing document, browse to the HTML document,
which must be closed before sending it. Also, the html document should be
saved on your harddrive, not a network server.

mail merge doesn't support attachments. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/mailmerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm for a work
around.
