mail merge shipping labels

I woul dlike to know how to produce from a mailing list multiple labels for
each entry. i.e. Each label has "Box __ of ___" I need to print for example
3 labels for the firt line, 2 labels for the 2nd entry, and so forth.

Please, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. This is doing my head
in!
 
Word is not designed to perform this sort of mail merge and the best
solution is to edit the data file to create the extra records as required.
If the data source is Access, you may be able to achieve this with the label
creation tool of that product.
